About the Fort Hood Area Association of REALTORS®

The Fort Hood Area Association of REALTORS® (FHAAR) is the trusted source for real estate news, resources, and professional standards in Central Texas. Our association is made up of dedicated real estate professionals who have joined together through local, state, and national REALTOR® organizations to support a strong, ethical, and informed real estate industry.

Located in the heart of Central Texas, approximately 60 miles north of the state capital of Austin, the communities served by FHAAR sit alongside Fort Hood, home to one of the Army’s largest concentrations of armored forces. Just beyond the installation are the growing cities of Killeen, Harker Heights, Nolanville, Belton, Copperas Cove, Kempner, Lampasas, and Gatesville, which together create a vibrant and diverse housing market serving military families, longtime residents, and newcomers to the region.

The Fort Hood Area Association of REALTORS® is a professional trade organization whose primary members are licensed real estate professionals. Every REALTOR® who joins FHAAR is also a member of Texas REALTORS® (TR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), forming a powerful three-tier membership that connects local professionals with statewide resources and a nationwide network dedicated to advancing the real estate industry.

Membership in FHAAR is voluntary and open to all active real estate licensees in the State of Texas or neighboring states. In addition to REALTOR® members, FHAAR also welcomes affiliate members, companies that provide products and services to the real estate industry. Affiliate members play an important role in supporting the local real estate community and are able to participate in many of the programs, networking opportunities, and services offered through the association.

At the core of every REALTOR® is a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical service. Members of FHAAR subscribe to and uphold the National Association of REALTORS®’ strict Code of Ethics, a nationally recognized standard that governs how REALTORS® conduct business and represent their clients in every real estate transaction.
