Kenneth “Scooter” Barclay Honorary Scholarship
The Fort Hood Area Association of REALTORS (FHAAR) is proud to support the educational goals of members’ families through the Kenneth “Scooter” Barclay Honorary Scholarship. Each year, FHAAR awards two $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
Who May Apply
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors whose parent or legal guardian is an active primary member of FHAAR.
Application Requirements
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit the following materials:

- A completed scholarship application
- A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, youth director, employer, or similar mentor
- A copy of the student’s current high school transcript
Scholarship Distribution
Each scholarship totals $2,000 and is distributed in two installments:

- $1,000 for the Fall semester
- $1,000 for the Spring semester
Distribution of each installment will occur after verification of the student’s active college enrollment and confirmation that the parent or legal guardian remains an active primary member of FHAAR.
Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed by the FHAAR Scholarship Committee and will serve as the basis for determining scholarship recipients. Selections are made without regard to race, color, gender, religious creed, national or ethnic origin, or unrelated disabilities.
